Performing the Freak
Performing the Freak is Wattle & Daub's public engagement event that accompanies The Depraved Appetite of Tarrare the Freak. The show's artists perform extracts from the piece, and are joined onstage by project partners and invited speakers to discuss issues around medicine and monstrosity that inform the show.
*Please note the 4 September performance of Performing the Freak at Arnos Vale Cemetery (described below) has been postponed. Thank you to the many audience members who have expressed interest in attending; we will update this page with the new date as soon as it is available.*
